LISA S. CORNE

Lisa received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Manitoba. She then obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manitoba in 1985. Lisa was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1988.

Lisa practices in the areas of insolvency and litigation with an emphasis on commercial restructuring and insolvency matters. She has significant experience litigating complex and sophisticated matters and has regularly appeared on the Commercial List litigating a wide variety of commercial matters, including restructuring proceedings under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, court-appointed and private receivership proceedings, corporate fraud recovery litigation, breach of trust and fiduciary duty cases, contract disputes, shareholder disputes, professional negligence cases and security enforcement matters.

Lisa is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the Canadian Insolvency Foundation, Insol International and the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Federation.
