RALPH D. DALGARNO

Ralph received his Bachelor of Arts from Victoria College, University of Toronto and his Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School. He was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1968. He joined the firm in 2007.

Ralph practices securities, corporate and commercial law, specializing in public and private financings and mergers and acquisitions. He has expertise in corporate plans of arrangement and in the securities law aspects of arrangements under the Companies' Creditors Arrangements Act. He also has considerable expertise in modern rules of corporate governance and has experience in cross-border transactions, principally involving the United States and the United Kingdom.

A significant portion of his practice is devoted to the junior resource and mining area, where, for instance, he helped to author the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada commentary on National Policy 43-101, Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects.

Ralph is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association and the Dalewood Golf & Curling Club.
