SUSAN ROBINS

Susan received her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Toronto in 1979 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1982. Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Susan worked in senior tax advisory roles with two major multinational corporations and was a partner in several global consulting firms prior to joining the firm.

Susan advises corporations and individuals on Canadian income tax and sales tax issues. Her practice has a strong focus on cross-border and international tax issues as those issues affect Canadian businesses with operations outside of Canada and foreign businesses operating or establishing operations in Canada. She has a very extensive mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and reorganization background. Transfer pricing issues are also part of her practice as is dispute resolution with the Canadian Revenue Agency.

Susan is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the International Fiscal Association and the Canadian Tax Foundation..
