ANDREW J. SKINNER

Andrew received his Bachelor of Arts at McMaster University in 1974. He then obtained his Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1977. He was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1979 and joined the firm in 1999, having been a partner in two large Toronto law firms since 1985.

Andrew practices in the areas of banking and commercial transactions. He has broad experience in commercial real estate and in acting for lenders in secured transactions, work outs of troubled loans and insolvency matters.

Andrew is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association. He is past Chairperson of the Real Property Section of the Canadian Bar Association-Ontario. He has been an instructor at the Bar Admission Course for the Law Society of Upper Canada. Andrew has lectured and written widely for both the Law Society of Upper Canada and Canadian Bar Association - Ontario.
