10 to 12 February David Gray attended the International
Franchising Association's annual convention in Orlando,
Florida.

2 February the annual Aylesworth Lawyers Dinner was
held at the Gardiner Museum. The evening began with
tours of the museum's traditional and contemporary ceramic
collection.

Robins co-authored the article "Valuation of Intangible
Assets in Franchise Companies and Multinational Groups:
A Current Issue" published in the American Bar
Association's Winter 2008 Franchise Law Journal.

22 January David Gray took part in a panel discussion
on "Business and Franchise" at the Hispanic
Chamber of Commerce on the topic of "Current News

12 and 13 January David Gray exhibited at The National

In
January Edmund Reid, the Firm's Manager of Information
Systems, joined the Board of Directors of the Toronto
Law Office Management Association (TLOMA) as the 2008
vice-president. TLOMA is a not-for-profit organization
for law firm managers and administrators that provides
support through educationn, networking and development.
At
Aylesworth toys and non-perishable food items were place
under our Christmas tree and then donated to the Salvation
Army for distribution to needy families. This year the
Firm's annual Christmas donation was made to the Daily
Bread Food Bank and to the Calmeadow Foundation.

Gray successfully completed the Ontario Real Estate
Agent's Courses and has obtained permanent salesperson
status in commercial real estate.

On 28 April the
London Knights won their conference final and as a result won the
Wayne Gretzky Trophy and will now play the Peterborough Petes for
the J. Ross Robertson Cup. The winner of this round will head to Monkton,
New Brunswick to play in Memorial Cup Tournament in late May. Trevor
Whiffen has been the Governor of the London Knights for the last two
years.
On 27 April Julia
Dublin was featured in the Financial Advisors - Personal Finance column
in The Globe and Mail. Rob Carrick commended Julia for her efforts
to help individuals get better treatment from investment advisors.

Tulving-Blais chaired a seminar on "Licensing in China: The Good,
the Bad and the Ugly" which took place at the Toronto Chapter
of the Licensing Executive Society Luncheon Meeting.

12 April Elo Tulving-Blais attended BIO 2006 in Chicago. This is the
world's largest biotechnology conference and trade show with about
20,000 attendees from over 60 countries. A delegation from the Ontario
government led by Premier McGuinty was also in attendance.

Harry Andrew traveled to London, England to attend the Spring
Conference of the British American Business Council (BABC).
On 22 March
Corey Levin spoke to a group of at-risk youth who are being assisted
by Street Outreach Services on the subject of courtroom and business
etiquette. Corey volunteers as legal counsel to Street Outreach
Services.
On 12 March
the London Knights capped another exciting year by winning their
third straight Ontario Hockey League regular season title. They
are the first team in OHL history to win the Hamilton Spectator
Trophy three years in a row. As well, the Knights have been ranked
No. 1 (of 59 teams) by the National Hockey League Scouts in the
Canadian Hockey League. Trevor Whiffen has been the Governor of
the London Knights for the last two years.
On 10 and
11 March Harry Andrew and Douglas Hendler attended the Lawyers
Associated Worldwide - Great Lakes Sub-Regional Meeting in Minneapolis,
Minnesota.
On 8 March

attended the Canadian Paraplegic Association's Knowledge Mobilization
Seminar - It's Good To Be Dense. The presentation was given by
Dr. Cathy Craven a physiatrist who stressed the importance of

for women and those living with spinal cord injuries. This was
